Currently a Broker Associate for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Mary was the previous Broker/Owner of ecoREsource Properties from 2008-2015 and Broker/Owner of Western Land Office in Livingston from 1994-2004 and proud to have worked with some of the most professional agents in the business. Mary Ackermann has been dedicated to bringing the best in real estate service to the local community. She has served as President for the Park County Board of Realtors, as State Director for the Montana Association of Realtors and has served on the Regional MLS (Multiple Listing Service) Committee. As a member of the Big Sky country MLS system, the Southwest Montana Farm & Ranch Brokers, ecoBrokers International and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Mary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer her clients.

Mary actively supports several local charities and organizations, including Park County Big Brothers & Sisters, the Danforth Gallery, Friends of the Arts, Sacred Portion Children's Fund and Park County Humane Society. She is also a founding member of the Ted Yates Foundation for Eagle Mount. She has served as a director on the Board for Community Health Partners serving Bozeman, Belgrade and Livingston.
With a formal education in the field of nutrition, Mary has worked in both hospital and university settings. Now that skiing, hiking and the arts comprise a large part of her personal interests, she believes there is no better place to settle than southwest Montana.
Having seen major changes in both Park and Gallatin counties since moving here in 1972, it has become apparent that sustainable building materials and energy efficient construction practices are paramount to maintaining our wonderful, clean, mountain lifestyle. Mary successfully completed a unique training program on energy efficiency, environmental health and sustainable construction for homes and commercial buildings. Mary earned her EcoBroker Certified designation in 2005 and continues to serve her clients through awareness and education of the latest designs, technologies and environmental issues in the real estate industry.
